Delivery of shipment

Delivery time is calculated from the moment the shipment is received from the sender. The delivery date depends on the place of receipt of the parcel and the place of the recipient. Transport takes place excluding public holidays and non-working days in the countries of origin and collection.

• Bulgaria: 2 to 4 business days
• Hungary: 2 to 4 business days
• Greece: 3 to 5 business days

At Ecolet.ro, we are currently working on a shipment tracking module, where you will be able to check in real time where your package is and when it is scheduled for delivery.

Standard DPD Regional shipment dimensions and weight

You can send up to 10 packages in a single shipment to a recipient in Bulgaria and Hungary. If you are shipping to Greece, each package will be treated as a separate shipment.

• The maximum weight of a Regional Express parcel that you can send to Ecolet.ro is 30 kg.
• The longest side of the package cannot exceed 175 cm
• The sum of the length and circumference of the parcel must be less than 300 cm.

Please ensure that your shipments meet the standard conditions for DPD parcels, otherwise the sender will charge additional fees for manual sorting or may refuse to provide the service.

Non-standard deliveries are those whose shape or packaging makes automatic sorting difficult or impossible, for example:

• tubes and cylinders
• parcels that are not cuboid in shape
• if the contents of the package have a high weight concentrated in a small area – for example, weights, dumbbells
• low rigidity shipments – if the packaging deforms easily and is not cuboid in shape

What is prohibited from being shipped by DPD courier?

Check the list of goods that cannot be shipped by DPD courier

• items whose delivery is prohibited by law;
• parcels containing goods of particular value, in particular precious metals, genuine jewelry, precious stones, real pearls, antiques, works of art, paintings that are part of the national heritage;
• counterfeit goods, ADR products, securities, money, valuables, bills of exchange, phone cards, identity documents, bank cards;
• vouchers and admission tickets with a declared value of more than EUR 520 per package (or the equivalent in RON);
• furs, carpets, watches, other jewelry, and leather goods with a declared value exceeding EUR 520 per package (or the equivalent in RON);
• perishable goods, food products, medicines;
• Parcels containing any other goods with a declared value exceeding EUR 13,000 per parcel (or the equivalent in RON);
• Firearms as defined by the firearms law of Romania, the transit country, or the receiving or destination country, parts/components/parts that fall under the category of firearms or are disassembled, ammunition for firearms—regardless of type, shape, or caliber;
• Parcels with inscriptions contrary to public order or morality, as well as parcels containing goods contrary to public order or morality, if sent without packaging or in transparent packaging;
• Parcels with old labels or inscriptions that have not been removed;
• Parcels which, due to their packaging or the nature of their contents, may cause damage to goods or pose a threat to people, as well as shipments containing cigarettes (more than 10 packs of cigarettes), live or dead animals, materials for medical examinations or biological, medical, or drug waste, human or animal remains, body parts, or organs;
• in the case of international postal shipments, the contents of parcels whose export or import is prohibited or requires special approvals in accordance with the regulations of the country of collection/delivery or destination;
• Parcels consisting of goods for which special transport conditions, administrative, economic, sanitary, veterinary, phytosanitary, and other legal regulations are specified, under the conditions provided for by those provisions, as DPD is not a legal entity authorized to provide such services;
